Team Tryon Anniversaries: August 2024
Achieving great things requires a dedicated team. Tryon International and its affiliated brands have an average of 250 full-time employees, expanding to over 500 staff during peak seasons. Each month, we will highlight some employees who are celebrating five years or more with Tryon International, recognizing their outstanding contributions. Probably a private island or mountain
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I spent many years in the theater and movie business.

What is something most people don’t know about you?
I have visited all 50 US states and a significant part of Canada. I had the good fortune of traveling during the summers with my parents when I was younger. We actually made two different trips driving almost 8,000 miles each time. That was A LOT of “together time” spent with my mom and dad when I was a teenager! It is also probably the reason I became a travel agent in my early professional career.
What do you like most about your job?
I like solving different types of puzzles, almost like a detective. I feel like I have been able to utilize those skills every day in my job here at TIEC. I also appreciate the flexibility to work around the demands of my other job running the Carrier Houses Bed and Breakfast.
What is something on your bucket list?
If I had the money and time, I would love to travel across Europe and visit areas that are not so touristy, meet the local residents, and try their native cuisines.
