Mia Farley captured her first four-star long victory aboard Invictus after a consistently strong performance throughout the weekend at Tryon International. "'Sammy' is a 10-year-old homebred from Karen and David O’Connor and Sue Clark, and we’ve had him since birth," Farley shared. "I started him when he was three, and he’s really just been a pet in the barn ever since. Coming into this weekend, getting the MER for the four-long was the priority, but everything came together so well, and he was happy all week."

Reflecting on the Cross-Country phase, Farley noted that “the conditions and footing felt amazing, and I think every piece of the day set up really well for good Cross-Country riding. That was definitely our strongest phase this weekend.”
On securing her milestone victory, Farley added, “it’s incredibly special. I've never won a four-star before, so to have all of this come together means a lot. We’re lucky to have such a great team behind us, and it really takes a village.”
