Live on the Legends Plaza Stage: Chairmen Of The Board! This dynamic group emerged from the vibrant musical scene of Detroit in 1969. Led by the charismatic General Johnson, the band quickly made a mark with their smooth vocals, infectious grooves and tight instrumentation. After the passing of General Johnson and Danny Woods, 50-Year member Ken Knox continues to lead the group touring with members Thomas Hunter and Patrick McGuire, plus a Six Piece backing band called The Executives. They are members of the North Carolina Music Hall Of Fame and the South Carolina Beach Music Hall Of Fame, making them a timeless and influential force in the music scene. In 2012,  they were the first group to perform a half time show for the Carolina Panthers, also elected to star in a video entitled “I’d Rather be in Carolina.”
